The Trolling Ring & Grommet was the original concept for which the jigging version is derived from.  The game trace is wrapped around the protective grommet and crimped.  The large ring is then clipped to the windon leader via a suitable coastlock swivel clip.   The grommet has been designed to accept up to 400lb leader material.  This terminal system has proven to be very popular around the US.
